Hi All,
is it possible to just change the dump pipe on a GU TD6 and leave the remainder of the standard system on?? is it worth doing it, or just wait till i do the whole system? just that the standard dump pipe looks very restrictive.
I was going to do the whole system at once, but i'm doing the suspension first and funds are not there to do it all just yet.
Thanks.

GU TD6 Dump Pipe
or just do the dump and put a single piece of stright 3" on aiming directly down the firewall to the ground and run it like that
cheap and exactly the same as a full 3" system...

Re: GU TD6 Dump Pipe
To get it right, suspension should be one of the last things you do.. after weighing your rig after you've modded it with all the accessories you intend to fit, so you get the right shocks/springs for what your intending on doing.eighty80 wrote:I was going to do the whole system at once, but i'm doing the suspension first and funds are not there to do it all just yet..
Exhaust on its own with a dump, doesnt really do much, hope your not expecting much. results will depend on expectation, expect a little and you will be happy.
YMMV
your right there bogged. but why cant i factor in all the accessories i'm going to add in the next 12 + months, and set up the suspension to factor that all in??
the exhaust i'm expecting to give me a little, i know its not going to be massive...but mid range i should get a bit more...then i'll be decide what im going to do from there..

You can, Its just how I reckon you should do it.. PLenty of cheap 2-12mth old suspension kits forsale cause they were wrong.eighty80 wrote:your right there bogged. but why cant i factor in all the accessories i'm going to add in the next 12 + months, and set up the suspension to factor that all in??
Only bitch buyin it first is if you decide to change your mind a few times on accessories (eg 10k warn instead of 9k warn, 30kg weight difference alone), then as bloke in our club did you end up payin out again.. He went with extra heavy since he was going touring, storage, showers etc etc.. the thing nearly broke your spine now before kitting it all out! He has just bought his 3rd setup from Shane at Suspension stuff this time (large 4b store the first 2), and is pretty happy from what he said after his first trip with em
be good if the cost of the exhaust was matched = powerthe exhaust i'm expecting to give me a little, i know its not going to be massive...but mid range i should get a bit more...then i'll be decide what im going to do from there..
