Outer Limits 4x4 Board

My 2.8 GU (auto) never gets better economy than 16L/100km.
I am struggling to compare this to anyone elses, as there are very few here in NZ, but it seems pretty poor to me.
No mods to motor etc, running 33's with recon. injectors, new filters.

Any advice on what it may be, or if this is normal?

my 2.8 use to use 18lt per 100km i have since put a gen 3 v8 in that gets 16lt per 100km, more power better economy alot more fun to drive.
