As far as I can read and find on the net and via talking to people the 100 and 80 Series lift kits you can buy are all the same.

True?

If so I can buy a 2nd hand lift kit to suit a 100 and put it in my 80!

Thinking of going for a 3 inch Dobinson, EFS, Kings, or simlar dependning on what I can find.

Thanks!

For a start 100 series are IFS. 105 are solid axles, so maybe thats what your refering to.

As far as I know the chassis dimensions for a 105 series are the same as an 80 series. Just remenber that the 105 is a larger, heavier vehicle so the lift may be a bit harsh on an 80. Most lift kits are suited to a particular vehicle, I know that mine was designed specifically for the load that I carry all the time.

I have the 3" Dobinsons lift and I am extremely impressed with it. I have had it 4 years with no sign of spring sag. I don't think that they do a 'standard' kit, all of their agents order the springs to suit the vehicle concerned.
