ADR's, seats and lighting

Post by derangedrover »

Can anyone explain why there is no ADR pertaining to headlights for pre '89 vehicles?

Has anyone noticed if their aftermarket seats have any labelling about ADR compliance?

Cheers

Not all seats will come with ADR tags but this does not mean will have to rule them out. Seats made to other standards, such as European standards ('E' marking) or the US standard (FMVSS) can be used but maybe with some simple test.

E marked ones are the best to go for. The European standards are often listed in the ADR as an 'acceptable alternative'.
