Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hi, me and a mate have just purchased a fj45 it has a 4.2 straight 6 petrol, with a 4 speed , we want to put in a toyota 1uz with the automatic, and still keep the 4wd, we can do most of the work out self's are we a diesel mechanic, but i just wanted to see if it has been done before, so we get the right 1uz either front or rear sump. and etc etc cheers any help would be great..
