extracters

i got a set of extracters for my coily sierra about 2 mothes ago, and i told the block there for a coily cos there are diferent ones and he insisted thay are the right ones, and today when i had the car on the hoist i notesed that thay are hitting, do you think its bad enough to wory about or just leave it? thay came with 12 moths waranty so i can get them replaced.

are they hitting cos you have a broken engine mount.

are you sure they are not 1.6 vitara extractors they seem to hang down very low. Ive always fitted top cat extractors to coilys and never had a problem

yer thay were for a 1.3 sierra and it said let him no if you had a coily sierra or leaf and i did and this is the ones i got,

dbl check ur engine mount with a pry bar under them as i didnt know one was broken once till took motor out

IMHO that's pretty normal for extractors on a coily.

i got the same set on mine, with the same little dimple. would not worry about it.

ive got a set on my coily and they never hit
wouldnt owrry to much but keep an eye on it
vitara ones come out too far and hit the body so its something else
they do hang very low could be leaf sprung extractors
leaf and coilys have different extractors

In my opinion they are hitting on a steering component so get them changed. bugger all chance of it going wrong but that's not the point it's a safety factor and I doubt they would let you pass a roadworthy if something interfers with any steering component.

thanks for the reply's guys , i let the bloke no who i brought them of and he was more than happy to help, made me another set 1inch higher and delivered to my front door for free and all in 4 days, so i will change them after chrisy. :armsup:

yer he is a top bloke i highly recommend him and his products are very good to, he sells them on ebay alot, just let him no if you have a coily or leafy
