Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Im thinking of removing the resinator box from the intake to make room for a second battery.
Its a 3.0Ltr Diesel 1999 turbo (aftermarket) and safari snorkel.
It has the metal air filter box (not plastic like 1998/1999)
Anyone done this?

i just put a 98model air filter box in.a bit noisier, but its all you can do

I removed mine no problems.
