Series 2 Gu Patrol

Hi guys, looking at getting a nissan patrol as the new tourer and play car!!Any problems that i should look for in the series II 4.2 turbo diesel?

Any cheap power upgrades for them?Chips?Dyno Tunes?

What is the best lift?2 inch or 3inch?And what is needed with these lifts?e.g castor correction?steering dampner?

the best cheap power upgrade would probably be a 3" exhaust and dump pipe and have it dyno tuned. a snorkel will also help a little bit.

The lift all depends on what you want to do with it.. What size tyres do you plan on running ect..anything over about 2-3 inches is going to need castor corrections of some sort whether it be drop boxes or plates or arms.. steering dampers arent a nessecity but they do help when running big lift and big tyres.

why not buy it, drive it first to see where you think it needs more sniff.
as said dyno tune, dump and exhaust is about it on the cheap.

Worry about a lift, when you figure out what you need to do.

if it has a factory nissan snorkel make sure it is 100% sealed. cuz oftern they arnt and i found out the hard way.
