250 x flow would be easiest, there are conversion kits available.
I have just welded fuel injection ports into a 265 hemi manifold for a bloke at work. It will be running ea throttlebody 440cc injectors n haltech i think.

Either drop in another SD33 and be done with it or go the whole hog with a V8, better yet sell it while it's worth something and upgrade to a GQ for the same money you will spend on an engine swap.
You will spend $2-3K on an engine swap, you can get a decent 4.2 petrol GQ for $3k, much newer & stronger motor than any of the oldies you are considering and you get a driveline that can handle it to boot.

Fair eniugh, just bear in mind, he also wouldn't want you to waste time and money at some point hanginging on to it. So if you spend money on it go for maximum enjoyment value

Just stay with the sd33t, pretty good motor, last well if you keep good oil and filter changes, use it occasionally then the whole thing will last well, If you wanna use something to extremes and wear it out - ie hard off road and daily driver, get a cheap GQ with the money you'd spend on conversions.
That way your mq will last and could be used on weekends and if your other car was being modded/repaired...

Rochester Quadrajet is a much better carby for offroad use, Holleys don't like extreme angles without professional modifications.
