Sounds cheap IMWO. 4.6's are usually more, and genuine are $990per diff.
Give BBM a call, see if Rick can beat that price or PM him here..

Do you really want 4.88's Most people i know run 4.6s even with big tyres 39's etc.
I have 4.1s and 37s on a gu ute and it still drives fine. I have heard of people having problems with 4.88's constantly coming loose of the centre

Do you really want 4.88's Most people i know run 4.6s even with big tyres 39's etc.
I have 4.1s and 37s on a gu ute and it still drives fine. I have heard of people having problems with 4.88's constantly coming loose of the centre
4.88 crack and break also, better with standard ratio and transfer gears.
4.11 to 4.88 is about 3/4 of a gear in the gearbox, if it stuggles on hills in high range just go down gear.

its got 4.2 s in it now and a bit of a slug with the tb42
so you lot think i should go 4.6?
im happy to try them but
what do you think the re sale of 4.6 would be say 1 week old if i dont like them?

What tires are you running now?
what diffs do you have now?
If you have 4.1's and 35's, go borrow some 31's for a hour or 2, that gearing all round then would be same as 4.6's.
What mods and spec is yours?
Turbo?
3inch exhaust and dump?
You maybe better off spending the bux towards a turbo than diffs depending on spec and mods currently and intended use..

its not cheap doing diffs, let alone pain in the arse value. If you do it, you only wanna do it once.
