1HZ timming belt

what are these like to do thinkin about doing one for a cash job never had a look at one its a 1hz 1990 80 series

takes about 20 minutes. unbolt the power steer reservoir for access to the timing cover bolts/clips down that side. turn the motor over to BDC so the marks line up, lever the tensioner, slip the belt off. replace the tensioner, lever the tensioner, slide the new belt on. make sure the marks line up, replace the timing belt cover. bolt the power steer reservoir back on.

charge 2.5 hours.

Haha sounds about right. We used to time ourselves to do it the fastest we could get was 13 mins.

thanks fellas thougt it was easy the auto tech program that tells you about how to do these recons that the pulleys and what not have to be pulled off at least i know what i am doin next weekend

1HD-FT is very similar, never done an FTE though.

these are every 150thou right?

will be picking up a 03 100series soon and its got 115 on it.
