gti sierra

installed my g13b with a toyota 4agze supercharger
its fucking fast. its a ute and it weighs 850 kg and has about 180 horses
AHHH ITS FUCKING FAST

180HP? That's nearly a 200% power increase.

Even the 4AGZE doesn't make 180hp out of 1.6 and all the factroy durability tricks, twin cam head etc.

I'd say you've built a hand grenade. How have you figured you've got 180hp?

same setup im doing. iv only just put my motor in with no charger but have ported and flowed the head ready for the charger when i get more time ill put it on. i want to see pics to

i say your dreaming on the 180hp as that blower is flat out making that on a 3.8 litre crummydore

180hp at the motor is easily possible on a GTi, and that blower has the capability of flowing enough to do it. I've seen them worked to run 14psi on a 3.8L holden V6 and in excess of 300hp so don't scoff just yet.

That said where's the pics and where is the tech, I had though about doing the same thing to my motor....before I consulted my sensible side.

i got 3 gti engines sitting at my house @_@ and my ute all i need is the time and a bit of $$$
chargers are cheap im pretty sure and they can be hooked up to gti's

guess ill be the one closet to get the supercherger on then. all i need is the charger and ill make the rest. i just dont have the $300 at the moment for the sc14. i do have a vortech t2 s trim sitting at home but thats for my v8 and would be way to big lol

when you put the gti engine in did you have to get a microtec ecu?

nah ill be running stock ecu and then when i charge it just a rising rate fuel reg and a chip. ill see how that goes

Someone on redline did put a blower on a GTi and there is a chip to suit, only series 2/3 though.

MK1 can't be chipped but angle drive only fits MK1.

well soon ill start the ground up resto on my 86 stockman swb. as soon as my girlfriend leaves, shes stayin up here for a week @_@.
what are you guys thoughts on a lime suzuki sierra. probs that fpv acrylic lime colour. maybe with black on the bonnet where its raised on the side.

Im in the midst of charging my jimny at the moment, sc12 charger and a small front mount sneakishly placed in the winch mount and painted black.... Soon to be back on the road...

sounds good mud toy got to love the sc14 = so cheap but fun

so zookieboy since you have soo many gti motors are you able to help me out with a coolant temp sendor switch. its the blue one at the back of the head.
would be much appreciated as its all i need atm.

id would probs be cheaper to just buy one at a wreckers. im at the gold coast
