i got my spotties from a forklift... theyre unknown wattage (i think 150) spread beam ones (check "the ufo" link below for pics). Theyre Hella ones and were cheap at a price of $50 - as the forklifts were supposed to run pencil beam but someone ordered the wrong stock =P

thats what they are selling for. Other good lights are the new Ultima 225 cost from me about $310 a set or the roo lite 180 for $220-. hella also make an ace light but the rally 4000 staring at about $400- is a bit heavy you will need good mounts. Bang for bucks the roo lite 220 at $285-. That is per pair. (excellent value) Give me a ring if i can help

Ebay usually have them...
www.multispares.com.au did me a good deal on 20+ odd sets when I did a group buy on them few yrs ago
be careful, the bodys just unscrew, I've come out twice at home now to find the bodies on the ground/down the driveway after some vagina tried stealing them... Gettin rid of mine now for that reason. Its a shame, they are an excellent light.. Mine would be ~4yr old, and been on 2 different 4b's now.
Also check forsale section here... some good lights there forsale at moment
YMMV.

I have ran numerous lights over the years, your best value for money/quality light on the market these days is the Roo-Lite, i have the 220's $285 for a pair not bad but still cant match the Lightforce.
Lightforce 240 and 240 XGT are great i have owned both, bit more expensive though around $480 a pair but top quality.
I have owned and still own hella 4000's, top light all round for $400 a pair
I also own a pair of SUPER VISION brand HID lights, they are basically the exact same mounting design as the Hella 4000's and for $700 each 2 years ago, are still going strong!! compared to the price of the Hella Predator at the time was over a $1000 saving!
I have used the predators on a borrowed vehicle and they arent that good (as compared to cheaper HID lights) Definately not worth the big price tag
IPF are good allrounders too, never owned a set tho.
Anyway thats my opinion.
Check ebay bud, good bargains there.

Ive got a pair of Cibie Airports
bought them a while back to fit on my old falcon (had a long night run from Townsville to just the other side of Atherton.)
they worked great on that trip with good distance and width of light.

So do the Roo Lite 220's unscrew at the body like the light forces too ?
If you put the anti theft nuts on the 240's does that stop the stealing problem or does the whole light face unscrew off the body ?

i think u should check the site again. st george bank has closed them down due to an excess in dept and returns. so my 2 cents is that u probs shouldnt buy them from there.

Roolite bodies unscrew exactly the same as Lightforce lights. In fact, they are interchangable.

you can hook your car alarm up to the driving lights so that when the circuit it cut (cut wire) and not grounded the alarm goes off.
jaycar used to have a kit on the shelf but any decent alarm dude should be able to design a system.
