Team,
Is it accepted that everyone just buys prop valves from Spidertrax (or Low Range Offroad) or is there some other clever place i should be getting one from?
Thanks,
Greg

Rumor has it that the prop valve used on Mini rears will do the job - but haven't tried one.
Its on the drivers side rear subframe and given the possible low cost nature of the beast should be worth a look. Almost stripped one as a "piece of interest" from a Mini at Centre Rd Self Serve Wreckers... but its gone now.
Appears to be adjustable under a screw off cap.
If you try it let us know if/how it works. - A mini forum might confirm this.

Thanks for the replies team.
I'm a bit cautious of using the mini prop valve idea though... it would clearly break the "if not suzuki, completely custom" rule.

yep, Ive seen a mini prop valve converted to adjustable. It had a hole taped through the cap with a little "T" handle threaded through it to work the valve inside.
Try the VIC or NSW Mini Car clubs for info.
Also try RPM race gear.

i have heard the mini one working too, but it has to be from a specific type of mini as not all of them were adjustable. Im using machined down sierra disks and ford corsair calapers and have no need to a valve at all as there is no locking of the rear wheels

How much is the spidertrax one ?
You know it will work if not to many $$ I would simply buy it and drive.

VPW have them in stock for $63
Obviously owner supplies their own two little bits of hard line, but to get the whole thing for about the cost of shipping the spendertrax item is a win I think.
Steve.

Sierra fronts...
It's not for me though - it's for a friend that actually has a car that gets driven.

I think i endup up at about $160ish AUD for the spidertrax unit (shipped)... our dollar is just not strong enough at the moment...
$160 less the $63 for VPW's willwood unit still leaves me with $97.
That should be enough to cover the cost of 2 double flares...

Castlemain Rod Shop is clearing some out the moment. Look like strange or wilwood.
