80 series chassis

hey guys i got a 80 series rolling chassis with a 4.2 turbo diesel sittin in it no cab an was thinkin of selling it wat would it be worth do ya reckon the egine runs well there is no rust just seein wat its worth

turbo'd 1hz or a factory 1hdt?
1hz isnt worth fook all but a 1hdt in good nic would prob fetch 4k
rolling chassis is prob worth 2k
that said the 2 together arent worth as much as they are seperate

That engine along, depending on condition would be 5 - 6k easy, Ring a wrecker and ask him anonymously what a 1hdft is worth.

hell, a 3L in ANY condition will set you back $3500 at any of the wreckers here in adelaide!

i like nobody asked how many KMs on the engine?
why is it a chassis? was there a big accident? did it go in salt water??
personally chassisis worth 1500 tops.
engine 3k tops.
you buy from a wrecker you generally get a poor warrannty but you have something. you buy privately you got nothing.

been enough burning from dud chassis of late !!!
