spring angle

hi all
i have had a 5" spring lift fitted in to my gq and am having a few problems
Question?
when it is parked on flat conceret should the springs be straight up and down?
that is the diff directorly under were the spring fits in to the spring tower
(because my diff seems to be about 100 - 75 mm back making the spring on a angle from the top spring point down and rearward to the diff, so when the wheel is compressed this gets worse and when the wheels are free like when i pick up the back with the fork lift the diff sits were i think it should be dirrectly under the top spring point)
does this seem right?
