Flamin fab for low mount xp

Post by biggsy »

I have a low mount 9500 xp warn winch.....6h/p...
Now, besides being a very long body winch can A Flamin Fab winch motor connector to run dual motors be installed.... I cant see why not..Just a suggestion as the xp is a tough winch and not that slow compared to a high mount but is a 1000 pounds more than the high mount..

I thought one of the winch trucks was running a similar setup.

Also with altered gearing to use the extra horsepower to full advantage.
That thing is quick!

It can be done if you have the room in your bullbar to fit an extra motor plus adapter. The only down fall with running a lowmount is how much cable you can carry.

Hey Guys Billy Here
The same adaptor can be used on any motor that fits a warn.Just contact Wazza you`ll find him very good to talk to.Also there are other options that are tested now for the room problem and russ has a air free spool sorted out that works sweet as. The drum has been extended on my 9.5 for 2 years now no probs so far.Hope this helps
Cheers Billy.

ps not sure if you need the extra probs that go along with it without altering gearing,Try 24v standard 9.5 first mate it will snap standard plasma real quick like that.

Thanks Billy...

Just to let you all know the Adapter is $850 for a while. In time for those of you thinking about upgrading your winches for the new comp season.... after this, it goes back to $1300.

Any questions, let me know..... But Billy's your best bet to talk about what he thinks about the Twin Motor Low Mount!

Cheers, Wazza
