im guessing you dont have the std one or it isnt handling a wide tyre.

i had an afermarket one come with car so i used the part the tyre bolts to and then some 50x50 square tube down onto the chassis at the back.

but whatever you use make it extra sturdy amazing how much weight there is there.

Hey Pinky & Sar,

I started drawing up a new rear bar and tyre carrier for my 40 this weekend. Hopeing to get it lasercut and built in a month or two. It'll be something along the lines of this one.

theres plenty of pics here if you want a closer look.. not much else to it really.

I plan to add more to the rear bar in the future (been to lazy).. want to add 2x m12's on each outer edge of the rear bar into the rear cross member to add some strength.. at the moment its got 6 x m12 high tensile bolts for the towbar holding on the rear bar into the rear cross member of the chassis.

i have snatched from the rear using the tow bar a few times since and its been fine.

what you need to do is make a stainless plate that goes from top to bottom on the outside between the carrier and the body, and then make other plates from the inside, fixes the problem.
