12psi is nice...
but get it dyno tuned to get the best and safest out of it.

My GU TD42T Wagon is running 15 psi, Fuel pump tune, 3 inch dump pipe and exhuast, adjustable boost controller set and locked.
done buy very reputable nissan diesel expert.
Been like that for two years now and still running like a dream.
550 EGT max, no intercooler!

The engine bay looks much less cluttered with the barrel cooler there!
Does anyone reckons there's much power to be gained running a 3" exhaust system with no mufflers as opposed to one with them?

what boost pressure are you currently running as you have a bleed valve in the waste gate line already from the look of it

id go see a deisel specialist, and get them to tune it all

Before you spend the cash on Diesel specialists and dyno's, you can road tune it pretty close if you have a EGT gauge and boost gauge installed. its the egt's that you must keep an eye on. as you'll see in other posts no higher than 550'C.
You can run as much boost as you're engine intervals will allow as long as you have the fuel input to do so. (20psi and above is no worries with 3 i've built so far)
More fuel=more boost (as long as you have the waste gate set to handle it)
if you're unsure ask....or search!
good luck

The Sticker on the Cooler Is from Bluey on the Sunny Coast He is no Longer Running. But if he Fitted it I would Not Touch it as He is A Deisel Guru.
