gq steering issues

Post by bsimpson »

hi all.i have a gq with 3''lift and 3 degree castor bushes was driving fine with31 desert duelers.put 33 mudders on cruiser offset rims and started pulling to the left.have been told by wheel alignment guy that it has a twisted housing.....another guy reckons the left swivel hub bearings are rs,they seem fine,no movement.also have been told i need 600 dollar offset swivel hub bearings.on reading about castor issues with patrols should i go back to standard castor bushes wich should bring it back to 1 deg pos, within specs, anyone else had experience with this sort of prob?any ideas would be great, cheers

you FIRST need the specs that the wheel alignment guy gave you.

If your castor settings vary heaps from L to R you have a problem, either housing or swivel hubs bearings.
