I recently fitted a DTS system to my HZJ105R and made the decision to go that way only because DTS use a water cooled turbo. I have never heard a bad thing about DENCO or DTS so I think either will be fine. I did notice a large difference in prices depending on place of purchase. ranging between 500 to 1000 dollars difference with the DTS the more expensive.

I have a DTS with intercooler, fuel compensator running 16psi boost in my 80.
In five years I have never had a engine problem (Except the induction hose to the turbo would collapsed on boost over 6psi and did my head in working out what was wrong  )
I fully support the DTS system, I rang them up once when a water line to the turbo started leaking slowly half way along, and they sent me out a spare was well as all the fittings to replumb the water cooling connections to meet current setups. No questions asked, didn't even ask for a receipt or anything. I was very impressed.

Are you sure this is a genuine GT28 (ball bearing) and not a T28 (bush) or garret bitsa (garret internals in locally produced housing, or similar)? Seems a great price!

This is from there add

FEATURES:

Turbo is a Genuine Garrett Hi Flow GT28
Turbine housing is high nickel content and turbine wheel is of lightweight incanell material
Turbo has integrated wastegate

They don't say anything about it being a BB turbo :?

G'day,

I think the GT28 is a bush turbo, the GT28R is the ball bearing. I'm running the GT28R on my 105 at the moment.

Garrett have changed the nomenclature on their turbo setups recently to improve turbo ID. This might help:
