whats this light (!)

i have no manuals
it happens only in the mornings but after work its gone like nothing happend so whats this light meant to say

I believe that is a brake warning light. Switch/sensor possibly screwed on the master cylinder, try disconnecting any wires on the brake master cylinder and see if it turns off/stays on. If it stays off leave it...unless your brakes are starting to give?
Would also enquire at Mitsubishi as to what is meant to set off the switch.

Two things
Either Handbrake is left on or low brake fluid.
3 options,
1) release handbrake
2) Take lid off brake fluid reservior and add some brake fluid
3) Take lid off brake fluid reservior and push the black thing under the lid back into the lid and put the lid back on!

Park brake light is (P)

on my pajero the park brake light is (!) mine does the same thing after i have rebuilt my braks might have to check the little black ruber thing in the lid.. it falls out all the time -.-

mine is the (P) ...but its also a triton so theres probably a few differences.

i found what it was as someone said its the rubber seal in the cap had drop down and pushing the low level float down
