I also just had the same problem, turned out being poor fuel pump pressure. Check the fuel line back to the tank as well to see if there are any clogs in it.

Yep, same here. Pulled tank, flushed thoroughly, back in and she run's sweet!

I'm surprised it ran at all actually with the amount of shit in the tank. :D

last time i drove my zuk i was having similar trouble.
Thing wouldn't idle, I'd be driving in any gear and as soon as i'd throttle off or clutch in & revs dropped to idle it would stall. Any accell and it would run as per normal...

???

yer mine was doing a similar thing wouldn't idle, would stall as soon as i put my foot on the clutch to change gear, and if i went to accelerate it would have a big miss and no power until it got over about 3500rpm, but it only did it sometimes, like it would play up than be good for a day than do it again, it turned out to be shit in the jets so i got the carbi pulled apart and cleaned, got the jets drilled out while it was in there and than tuned and how it is great, goes better than before and uses about the same if not less fuel, id say yours could be the same thing, if you get the carbi cleaned make sure you take it to some one who knows a bit a bout them and thay will get it going better than ever.

cheers scott

thanks for helping.

Btw if its a 1.6 carb u get the same issues.

I had similar issue on my old 1.3 and was a carb issue

check also running it with the fuel cap off
clean the jets also, easy to do with pulling the front bolts out and flushing with carb cleaner.

one way is to flush them through with carby cleaner.

on the front of the carb there are 2 m12 i think bolts then go into the fuel bowl (box looking shape) section, undo these two and fuel will come out.

u will need the needle like attachemnt for the carby cleaner and poke into the jet u can see inside and clean it out.

this worked for me a couple of times.
