Hi guys,
I was doing an oil change this afternoon and notice there was a bit of an oil leak near the head of the engine (pic bellow)
This means that the head gasket is in need of replacing is it not?
I’m not greatly mechanical minded but do know my way around tools, so im just wondering if it’s a fairly easy job to do.

Head Gasket ?

You just need to unbolt it carefully clean all the oil and glue. Then change the old glue with the a new one (the one that holds the oil with in the engine). Also chechk your water pipes you are loosing some coolant green color if you can see
Oh also be careful do not tighten the bolts to much the gasket will crack like a cookie
Also can you give us more info about the exhaust manifold that you have changed ???

That's a fairly common place for them to leak ( Murcods got No.1 - the dissy "O" ring"...
The rocker cover seal gets hard over time and no longer does its stuff.
As also stated be very careful when replacing / tightening its easy to have the seal slip out and then crack the rocker cover when tightening.
If your tight you could remove / clean and silastic it all back together but that makes the next valve adjustment just that much harder some time in the future so......
