i don't know the answer but i am not gonna bag you out about your car.
buy a real locker, why it does the same as any locker but permanently engaged. if it weren't for the 1% of decent material I read on forums i wouldn't even bother at all reading this crap.

is it a 22 spline or 26 spline front diff, carby or efi?

chill a bit dude.
to get a good answer you need to ask a good question.
Simple answer on the info supplied, is alter the right foot activity or go back to smaller tyres.

Seems like a pretty good question, to the point and simple what more do you want?

all he wants is to know if there are any aftermarket/strong axels. not how to drive or put smaller tires

if you have welded the sun gears up even the slightest bit crooked it dont matter how strong an axle you get you'll bust it. get another centre and start again will be your cheapest option.

yeah brendan i think what old mate is wondering if anyone makes chro-mo axles for his vit.
i know hes pulled the minispool out temporarily and put an open center in in the meantime.
i agree with joebloes last comment... haha

while your shopping at lowrange for axles buy a proper locked spool or even better a lockright (it will at least release pressure some of the time on those axles)

i will not alter my driving style or my right foot pattern because whatever the boys with their lifted, 35's and front and rear locked hilux's can do my vitara does better. and thats the way its going to stay.
does anyone know where to get the billet or chromolly axels from? DIFF TECHNICS are useless and will not help me!! and come across rude and arogent. would not deal with them now even if they could get me the strongest axels in the world!!!!

junior last time I checked sidekick or tracker one of those two were a vitara under another name but you'd know that if you spent less time telling everyone how good your vit and driving are

The Sidekick is what they rebadged vitaras as in the US. Same as sierras are re-badged as a Samurai.
i.e. Vitara/Sidekick/Tracker = same axles

Your welded up diff is crooked or you have bent the housing, or both
Unless you have done a radical engine swap and those AT tyres have some magical way of obtaining traction that defies modern science
With those tyres on a 26 spline diff you should not be breaking axles.
Unless you do something about the crook centre or housing you will break whatever you put in there.

diff housing looks straight
inside the centre where the axles go where they snap off they have chewed the centre out a bit but not in the spline part, would that bit of chewed out shit be weakening it?
should i get a new diff welded up??
air lockers are too expensive to put on a car that has a re-sale value of 1000... it has no straight pannels left...

get a auto locker less then $500, i wouldnt go a mini spool

If it were me I would try to track down a whole new rear end before dropping big $$ on cro-mo stuff. A lockright or if your happy with the welded rear I would do a minispool.
