Is this a 4-pinion or a 2-pinion front diff centre??

Hi All
I'm just about to get a lockrite installed into my WT Maruti front diff. I've taken the diff centre out and was expecting it to be a 2-pin. However after comparing it to a couple of photos i've found (by searching
) I am almost 99% sure mine is a 4-pin.
Could someone please confirm this for me? If it is I'm cheering because it means I dont have to go and buy another 4-pin centre
Pics of my front diff centre. Inside it has one long pin and 2 short pins at 90 degrees (sounds like a "4-pin" to me
)

yours is definately a 4 pin.
Term 4 pin or two pin is a bit of a furphy. It is actually a one or three pin. One soild "pin" and two half "pins"

Thats one more quirky Maruti mystery solved. WT maruti's have WT diffs with NT driveshaft flanges and a 4-pin front diff

I thought pin refered to pinion. In which case, it does have 4.

The "pinion" is the gear\shaft that the driveshaft bolts on to. So unless you have 4 diffs in your Zuk, you only have two pinion gears.
Its possible I am wrong but I dont think so.

if you have 2 gears that drive your sidegears you have a 2 pinion diff. if you have 4 little gears that drive the axle sidegears than you have a 4 pinion diff. so re-cap....one crown wheel and pinion in the diff centre, and 2 or 4 pinions in the carrier.

Unfortunately you are wrong!
They are definately refered to as pinions.
Look up the definition of a pinion, it might make it a bit clearer to you.
