Good link but dont want to chop the chassis as i have been told its harder to get mod plate for a chassis extension over moving the mounts back is this right?

im almost finished doing my shortyjust have to weld in the shock mounts and make a new rear floor pan, so you can come have alook at one in the flesh if you want. I get back to town on moday morning and go back to work friday arve so anytime this week is ok.

also my opinion only 12 inches is too mush you might as well go buy a wagon chassis and just trim the back off behind the panhard mount. When you get into it a small amount makes a big difference.
