Was doing a boggy Hill climb on 10psi tyre,s dunno why it blew is this a common thing for a 1998 Grand Vitara Auto model to do so wats the cheapest and quick Fix way ? replace the diff centre ? Just so people can work this out.

zook is a 98 grand vit 5 door v6 auto

Basically bottomed out and pushed the driveshaft through the alloy centre, diff.

can u swap in the earlier steel 3rd member? into this zook?

and if so what models he / i looking for?

Edit- going by this thread

Do we need to find a Manual GV front carrier?

cheers

Thanks for the clarification. I could barely understand what the OP said.

Answering your question. Yes it has been done before-changing from alloy to steel diff centres. Search is your friend. Do it before you get flamed.

I thought the manuals were steel, the auto's alloy. Have to check mine when I get home, I was sure it was steel.

Also, is English your first langauge?

Are we talking about the diff centre or pumpkin (case)?

Surely a centre would not be alloy.
