Engine type cast into block exhaust side under No.4 cylinder.

"HD" is 1600
"HC" is 1300

Not certain if engine numbers will easily differentiate so use block ID as above

well we managed to get some numbers from the old clutch and it seems the clutch is from a diahatsu grand move
dont know if you guys have them over there but we do in the uk

Ok thats' what I suspected - its not the corect clutch........

The "Grand Move" rings a bell but I'm uncertain if we got them, or even what they looked like.

As stated the HD/HE clutches share the same flywheel no matter if its a Feroza/Appluase/Charade in my experience. Try that path - its worked for me in the past.

In fact my old competition Applause clutch is now on another members Feroza.... it bolted up without problems also - so the supporting evidence is pretty strong.

Hope it works out.

yeah its a foroza clutch but a grandmove engine/flywheel must be the only hd engine with a different flywheel holes thats my luck

Nope. HDC feroza has bigger flywheel and bigger clutch than applause HDC (from first hand - i had to change flywheel and clutch from feroza to applause engine)

Interesting - we never got the "C" variants of Feroza's, Applauses or Charades. AFAIK all ours were EFI - and I didn't actually mention "C" variants...

Perhaps he's getting confusion from "E" and "C" version Feroza's - He never actually stated what he's got, and your explanation might be the answer.

And why would you put a Feroza Clutch on an Applause as you stated anyway ?

well i didnt know it had an engine change i ordered a foroza clutch and it seems i have a grandmove engine fitted hence why it wont fit

i get an applause engine for 100 eur, because a feroza engine cost 400 to 600 eur in our country. So i put an applause engine in my feroza.

Yes - that's about the ratio of costs for Feroza to Applause here as well.

Seeing as the core engine is identical except for the cam its a MUCH more sensible option IMO.
