mines pretty muh the same as jimbo but instead of angle i have used 40x3 rhs like my sliders and then on the opposite side of the body mount i used 5 or 6mm flat bar and half inch bolts hold it all on.i have a exo mounted off them and they are holding up to the abuse so far.Myself and a couple of mates have them done like this, its quick, easy and works well enough

Made the sliders in a few hours after work one day then after a few near misses (rollovers) I decided it was time for an exo so me and a mate knocked it up one Saturday. First I welded 100mm long 25mm bar to either end of the sliders then the sport/rollbar using weld in 90s.(You can sea it on the sport bar in one of the photos) Then just used shed 80 25mm nb steam tube for the rest of the bar work. Used pipe bender for all the small bends to get around the body and 90s and 45 degree weld ins for tight stuff Bolts on by sliding over the round bar and bolting threw with 12mm grade 12.9 socket head cap screws. We tacked it all up first and did a lot of measuring and checking and then tacked it some more before it was pulled off for full welding. All up with steel and bends and discs it cost around $350 to $400 to make. Its Not as neat as Id like but just wanted it done as that Sunday we did a real steep knarly track which I had another near miss on.

Measure twice cut once and spend the time notching the pipe ends so they butt against other pipes nicely and your weld will be a lot neater.
also weld prep your pipe by grinding the ends at 45 degrees. You will get a lot better penetration and a much better cage then just butt welding the bends straight on.

Jimbo your steps look nice and easy to do. Are they strong enough have you tested them? if so they look like I could make a set like that.

mine,40mmx3mm rhs,5mm flat bar on back sides of mounts,1/2 inch bolts with heavy flat washers have worked well so far landing on banks and rocks.Simple way of doing it.Then my exo bolts onto the sliders with 40x40 angle ontop, has copped a fair bashing and sliders havent moved.Hope this helps
