l300 front diff swap

can anyone tell me if i can swap an l300 (express) front diff with a larger pajero diff i am a little worried it wont cope with a v6 4 speed auto commodore set up i have and also are diff locks ezy to find for the larger diff 
and what about the strength of the rear diff
and what about the strength of the rear diff
