Just gauging interest

In the on going sga of my Zuk one of the plans if things go pear shaped is to get a swb (lwb would be nice if I could find one) softop 1.3 that is running and road worthy for the right price (hello N*A*M). To this I would then add all the good bits off mine. Series 3 RH, front air locker, rear detroit, rancho shocks, old man emu rear springs, snorkel? and any other bits I can think of at the time.

What would then be up for sale would be a lwb, ute cab with exo cage/tray,
with a 1.5 Corolla and 5 speed gearbox, standard Sierra t/case with either wide track or narrow track (depending on what swb I get), setup for rear springs all round and 3/4 rear. Extended shock mounts front & rear. Unreg & no rwc, no engineers. So what sort of $$$$$$ (I'm optimistic :D ) would someone look at paying. It is a great little vehicle but I want to change and get a soft top and I can't be stuffed getting it sorted.

As per our previous discussion, i'm interested in the widetrack diffs, steering componentry and driveshafts...

the driveshafts are custom lengths and probably won't fit a swb.

Ideally would like to sell it as a whole unite as storage at my place is already at a premium

You could use the cab as that handy shelf in the shed :D

Sorry I don't want anything off it but it looks cool if that helps

I can't guess at how much it would be worth, but i can guess that it's worth the time for you to get rid of that ridiculous sword fighting thing....

Even with my broadband 3mbps, it's choppy. Can't imagine what dial-up guys see on their end...

Its not to bad for me with a 56k modem. Only complaint is that is a bit bright for my sensitive eyes kinda like when greg takes his top off

Short term, yep, if buying a soft top gets you back in the swing of things, and gives you that 'warm and fuzzy feeling' then go for it, as at the end of the day, ya gotta be happy.

Financially, I reckon you'd be better to continue with what you've got, although, depending on where you recoupe your costs, it would come in close to balancing.

Yep, buy NAM's beast, get the blood flowing, and if you can afford it, keep the rolling shelf in your shed for a little bit longer just in case you decide to cross back.......although, as I've mentioned previously, I'm still interested in buying some of those black round things off you.....

Do it.......
