went round a corner today and my car stalled restarted it and it ran fine
stopped at the lights again and it stalled restarted it and its fine seems to be everytime i come to stop it stalls can anyone shed any light on this problem,is it an idle solenoid or something?

Common as buggery. Try pulling out the stepper motor and cleaning. Also clean the throttle body around the butterfly with carby clean and a rag

Had a similar problem. First try was the stepper motor, also called idle solenoid, on the bottom of the throttle body next to the hot water "choke". Ended up being the ECU.

mate , get the NL with 3.5l SOHC, I've had all 3 but thats the best, IMO
NL 3.5l auto with front & rear lockers,winch, custom 3.15 T/C gears
