Hey guys.
I was wondering if anyone's fitted a baby capsule into their lux? and if I could get some tips and maybe pics of whereabouts you guys mounted that fitting bolt it into the back? Do I need to get it to a panel beater to do any mods or welds? Is it even legal? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Yums

Misses fits seats etc

what year hilux?
the newer models have the mount for the anchor bolt under the base of the seat (and are a prick to fit)
the older models are on the rear wall or you may have to get a crab bar fitted

baby seat

What model?

The LN167 has two mounts, behind rear seat, left and right side. Most new baby seats / capsules come with the mount thingo that goes with the bolt also.

Hi thanks for the replies. It's a 1994 LN106 dual cab. Behind the back seat is a bar which is flush to the back of the cab but I didn't see any bolt holes. Thanks guys.

As the other have said, i have a 95 twin cad and there is a mounting hole on each side of the car, lower the back seat and it will be stairing you in the face, if there is no holes then they maybe covered with some type of plastic clip, if you look between the cab and the tray then you can also see the nut that is welded to the back of the cab.

i think in my LN106 the bolt holes behind the back seat
had a funny black sticker over them. as the thread runs
straight out the cab.

yeah I have a 1993 LN106 with a meridian safe N sound installed.. it was professionally installed (wife wanted to pay someone to bolt it in for her peace of mind)...

its bolted directly behind the back seat on the wall...

as the other guys said, drop the back seat the holes are right there on the wall. You will need to buy some bolts or mounts tho
