Airbag suspension for a gu

Post by GUproject »

Hi everyone, i've tried searching but have not found the info i require so far. i'm interested in any information or advise anyone has with fitting airbags suspension to a GU patrol. I'm looking into this option as i'm planning on running the vehicle at factory height for city driving (majority) and then being able to lift the vehicle for offroading, i'm planning on running 35inch tyres. Wanting a good all round vehicle, for city driving, touring and serious offroading. my previous vehicle was a patrol with a stage 6 superior 5 inch kit with super flex arm, I liked the amount of wheel travel with that kit and am hoping to have better travel with a more stable vehicle as i'm planning to be able to individually control each bag, and have valves which link left to right bags, which when active will let them drain and pressurise between themselves.

from the info I have researched so far, i'm planning on running the firestone rolling sleeve 22" bags. airbags will be run from an endless air system and tank.

Anyone running a system like this? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
