spring reversal mq/mk

do you need to get a spring reversal engineered
wat are the legalities of doing this ?

This is fairly common on FJ40s (Toyotas) check with a 4x4 shop or engineer or police or RTA, also check with landcruiser guys you know who may have done it.

Its a good conversion, but I recommend a longer tailshaft slip yoke for the front shaft. (Possibly one off a hilux front shaft)

main reason i was askin mknut is my swb is registered in west oz im in vic
lookin at maybe transfering to vic
also i was thinking of cutting tub bit off and making flat tray ute would that need engeeniring ??

they gave me some numbers for engineers
now two guys said it needs to be engineered one guy said no
because im just cutting gaurds not altering body type i dont need too the other two reacon i do
who do ya believe lol
as for cutting and making into flat ute that does ned engineering

I would get the paperwork or something sayin that from the guy who says it doesn't need engineering and show the RTA/Cops that when pulled over?

Probably a stupid question but why does it flex so much better with reversed springs? I wouldnt think it would change the flex that much..

so really nothing to do with the reversal then?
