Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Has any one delt with offraod armour in the UK, as I want to know how much I am looking at to freight to Melbourne and also what tax or customs fees are added to car parts from the UK.

I was mainly looking at the vitara winch bar www.offroad-armoury.com

If any one has one if these bars do you know if there are brackets to handle 2inch lift.

GBP 325 = AU$733 + freight.

I doubt it could be freighted for under $266, which means the landed price goes over $1000, so 10% GST and 5% import duty is payable on the landed price.

That's a lot of money for a pretty basic bar.

I'm pretty sure that I could sell you a Vitara ARB winch bar and get it modded for the body lift for under the 1200-1300 that you are looking at to get that bar into the country.

You other option is to get one made up locally. I have a few contacts in melbourne if you want to go down that road. Send me a pm if you are interested.
