fj40 indicators

Post by '75fj40 »

Hey everyone, i just bought a 75 fj40 with a 4.1 ford motor in it.

i just replaced the front right hand indicator, but the new one i bought has 3 wires coming out the bottom with the left one only having 2 and there only being 2 cables to plug into.

can anyone tell me what the third wire is for?

Original used to earth itself to the guard, new ones have an earth wire that needs to be earthed sperately. So your extra wire is an earth.
