When letting it down wait for it to bag out at the bottom a reasonable amount depending on brand of the tyre will be what pressure to run as sidewall's are diffrent strenghts and bag diffrently. With my 80 running 33's last time i was on sand they went to 15-18 i think.
plenty of parts on the bench

15psi is a good sand pressure in that tyre.. Any lower and you risk busting beads, any higher and you dont get the proper effect..

my mate has a 60's series with 35s and lets it down to 14 psi
the boys with hilux's let them down to 10psi (on 31's and 33's)
i let mine down to 6psi(vitara) on 31's
i was pulling hilux's out of indian head(fraser island) with no problems on 6 psi

Anything higher than 18psi you are wasting your time letting them down. 14-16psi is about what you want. Lower if ya get bogged. :D
