Hi ..
I have
Outback Draws fitted in my GU Wagon.
Will they fit in a GQ wagon or are they completely different.
Cheers
Grant.

i spoke with OutBack about this as i have drawers in my GQ, and i just purchased a GU, they are not interchangeable due to length, and steel construction

Interesting.. they must be different length to other storage units, cause several are interchangeable... its the width (side bits) that is usually the problem

nuh out back drawers are designed to use the full width of the truck between wheel arches,
black widow drawers are designed that the drawers them selves swa[ between several vehicles, just changing the wing sections,
others may be similar to black widow,
i looked into these when i looked into buyin then GU

The GQ ones are about 110mm longer than the GU coz Nissan decided to give the rear seat (well middle row) passengers more leg room at the expense of some rear cargo space when they made the GU. So you could put GU outback drawers in a GQ just cut out and carpet some new side panels, but could only put GQ ones in a GU the same way if you had no intention of having any back seats in.
I've put GU drawers in a mate's GQ before and there is a decent gap to the seats, but you can soon find plenty of stuff to put in there.
