Hi.
Looking at buying a fully engineered GQ patrol ( V8 ) regersted in NSW and transfering it into Vic ownership.
Vehical is in melbourne and will past a RWC test.
Will they be any problem with the Engineered V8 certificate from NSW??
Cheers
Grant.

i bought a v8 hilux in nsw and transferred it to vic rego a few months ago
the engineer used was a VASS approved engineer on the vic roads website and it was a straight swap
did not even need to see the car
http://www.vicroads.vic.gov.au/Home/Roa ... esVASS.htm
in there is a link to approved engineers.
not sure how it goes if the engineer is not on that list tho sorry

if when the mod was done and all the correct paperwork was filed witht the RTA it will bee all sweet. When i got my hilux transfered vicroads didnt didnt even want to bother seeing my engineers certificate, but the guy doing the roadworthy had to see it and when he read it, it was all sweet.
