a mate of mine is after some rancho 9000's (adjustable) that are somewhere around 500mm compressed and 900mm extended. does anyone know if they're available in something around that size?

there's no "best" shocks, there are horses for courses. ranchos are a decent compromise, but there are other adjustables out there that are as good or better - pro comp, series 2000/TJM have their own now, tough dog/4way make some nice ones, etc.

do some research and decide if you want gas/compressed gas/foam cell/monotube shocks then start researching the brands/specifications/prices to decide what's best for you and the kind of driving you mostly want to do.
