Ok so I have now lengthened the wheelbase to 100 inches on my 40 series landcruiser I need to have the driveshafts lengthened as well.
Does anyone know or can recommend a shop in sydney who specialises in this for 4x4s....
Thanks
Eddy

go to east coast fourwheel drive wreckers at Moorebank and have a look throught the pile of cruiser shafts they have out there. take your tape measure and a pattern of your yolks on the diff and t/case, you will save yourself a grand!

Every-one here has placed a pretty accruate call.....
1: do it your self ( its dead simple )
by doing it ya self ya save 2 to 3 hundred bucks.....
2: get longer tubes from a wrecker then cut n shut
where do you think the place that will do the lengthing get the tubes from anyway ?
3: get em balanced ( most motor rebuilding shops can do this work 4 ya.)
costs around the 50 - 70 to balance em

The tube is actually imported from overseas and is special driveshaft tube.
