IT IS A FORD 302 ALTERNATOR AND IT HAS A WIRE FOR

ALSO A 24 VOLT BOSCH ALTERNATOR WITH CONNECTION POINTS OF
W

D-

AND B+

WOULD BE NICE IF SOMEONE CAN MARK WHERE EACH POINT OF CONECTION CONNECTS TOO. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

24V Alt
B+ is battery
D+ is Warning Light
D- Is Rectifier earth which dont worry about
W is star point which is directly off the windings of the stator generaly speaking its half the voltage of the alt.
used for running relays and taco's not for large loads.

I did hear of someone putting 12 volts into the W on the 24v alternator which acted as an exciter wire.
