boost gauge not working

i have just purchest a new boost gauge as i thought that my old one was broken and this one is doin the same thing, they are both only reading 2 pound wen it should be more around 15- 20 pound,

has anyone had this problem or nows wat to do??????

Is there a restrictor in the line? Had a similar sort of problem until I found out there should what was a tiny little restrictor that went in the line to the guage. Fixed my gauge no worries.

are there also any leaks in the piping? is the olive on the back on the gauge seated correctly?

no restricters in it, n doesnt seem to be leaking from anywhere

More info...does the motor go like it used to?? does it smoke alot out the tailpipe, do u hear a hissing noise on boost?? is the turbo spoolin or are you hearing hissing from the tailpipe??? if everything is ok there, you have a hole in your pipe to te gauge...

got it to work the presure line goin to the air box had an alost pin prick hole in it and releasing the presure

So have you now got a cheap boost gauge for sale that is surplus to your requirements. :lol:
