Insurable suspension

A post in another tread got me wondering whether my vehicle will still be insurable if I upgrade with a lift kit. What are the general guidelines? As was thinking of putting a 2"-3" liftkit in 100s Cruiser.

depends who your with and what their policy is. only way to get a clear answer with this is to talk to your insurer.

I just informed my insurer, Suncorp, of my suspension upgrade. Only 2" though. No problens....

I havew a 5" megalift kit listed on my policy with shannons, no probs at all, RAC allowed a max of 1" lift.
