adoption or maybe foster parents.

On a serious note have you looked in the Vitara bible and read the threads on suspension lifts and body lifts for Votaras?

What do you mean by raised exactly? Do you want a suspension lift or a body lift? What are you hoping to achieve? More room for larger tyres, more ground clearnace for the sheetmetal? Better load carrying? Is it a LWB or SWB? What are the current specs of your vehicle? What is your budget? Are you going to do the work yourself or get a workshop to do it?

The more info you supply after doing a bit of research in the very comprehensive bible on here the better the answers can be.

i had a bit of a squiz through it but didn't find exactly what i was looking for.

what i ant to achieve is to gain more ground clearance. currently my gv is completely stock. i have no real budget but i would prefer to keep it as cheap as possible. i would probably have to get it done at a work shop seeing that i don't have a great amout of mechanical knowledge but if its simple and you need just the basic tools i would try instaling it

your car looks good.
i went into a 4wd shop and asked them what they would recomend as a cheap way to lift my car. he said i should get new suspension, and shock absorbers which would set me back $1500 and would only raise the front of the car 25mm and the rear 35mm. i think t would be much cheaper to get larger tyres

well you could go a 20mm front lift and 35mm rear with coil spacers and replace the shocks for a cheap lift - about $420

you could go a 60mm front and 70mm rear lift using more spacers - strut spacer, coil spacers front and rear, rear coils, diff drops and a panhard spacer and shocks for about $970

or a 75mm front and 100mm rear with struts, coils, shocks, diff drop, panhard spacer and 25mm rear coil spacer for about $1650

all depends on budget and how legal you want your ride
