Service recomendations for a 61 Series 12HT

I have a 61 that has been a fantastic truck for me since I have owned it over the last 4 years.
It has about 330,000 on the clock, and has run like a dream over the time I have had it.
I change the oils and filters every 10,000 but that is about it as far as maintenance goes.
It is all factory with no modifications other than a K&N, 2.5" exhaust, 2" TJM springs and a set of 33s.
Not wanting to sell, I want to do the right thing by keeping it in top order and have booked it in for a "inspection" in the next week.

I want to get the best performance out of the old girl, so need to ask the service guys the right questions. I trust their opinion, but need to learn a little so as to know what to ask for.

Can you recommend the types of things that I should be discussing with my mechanic?

Mark.

I'd be looking at changing the engine oil and filters at the recommended 5,000km. Although if your getting regular oil sampling done and are happy with 10,000km so be it.

Start with a general visual inspection of all components. Obviously if there is a leak, that needs to be addressed. Look at the oils and fluids. Coolant, brake, clutch and power steering. Look for any type of discolouration.
Diffs, gearbox, transfer case and engine oils will be checked. Have them note if the Gearbox is low in oil and the transfer is overfull.

Belts, hoses. Conditions?

Thanks for the reply Joel.
I will replace ALL fluids myself before the service and was perhaps looking towards the more mechanical suggestions such as compression, rockers, turbo etc?

Definitely every 5000km mate. And use good oil not cheap shit.
I run recommend Penrite HPR diesel 20/60 in my 12ht and steer clear of sakura filters. Your turbo bush and oil galleries will thank you for it.
