must be the same cheese then! or did nissan wave their magic wand over it? seeing cruisers run the same size bearings in the pinion and the carrier and the stub axle inner, although nissan have smaller outer stub bearings which make the spindle smaller than toyotas! therefore a toyota LONG cv won't even fit inside a nissan spindle
But nissan inner axles are 27spline exactly the SAME as toyota's, strange that and they have the same diameter cv and the same (interchangeable) spider and balls? Toyotas must fail cus they have decent locking hubs, that don't fail....
(I am just stirring)

You need torque to break axles, haven't seen many Toyotas with original motors breaking anything, ecept gearboxes falling apart. Don't know of any Toyota Diesels producing 250RWHP do you, not still running anyway, excluding the new Sahara which isn't proven yet. Plenty of Nissans with 200+ RWHP still going.
The standard Nissan CV are actually to hard which makes them brittle to shock loading, some guys tig weld an out ring to make them to make it "stronger" which actually aneels the metal making it more resilient to shock loading.
Just ask Glen Dobbin.

cals= NO warranty against breakage ( only manufacturing faults)
Longfields= LIFETIME WARRANTY against breakage.

I understand ABT had a way of running the toyo ones in the GQs at a reasonable cost
