I notice my new coils have L/H on one and R/H on the other - both front and rear. I can't see any difference - does it matter?

yes it does as as stated above, nearly all 4wd and majority of car springs have specific left and right sides put them side by side and see one may be slightly higher.

What about a fat passenger... - Oh now I know why I see those stickers that say "no fat chicks" - it's a suspension issue. And here's me thinking they were being mean!

can also vary due to fuel tank positions and any other constant loads , so the fat chick in the passenger seat is unlikely to be there constantly. Unless you got her pregnant then you could order the shotgun wedding spring set which comes with a very hard LHF spring

GU S HAVE A DIFERENT SPRING TO COMPENSATE FOR THE EXTRA FUEL TANK (oops cap lock) and the right springs are generaly a couple of mill higher in normal other applications
